Does Insurance cover testing?

News announcements about the CARE program from the federal government have stated that Private insurance, Medicare, and Tricare will cover the cost of testing with no copay and no deductible.  For those with private Insurance, Medicare, and Tricare, we will bill your COVID testing visit(s) directly to your insurance. We will not collect any amount for a co-pay or deductible at the time of your visit. That said, we suggest you call your insurance company (their number can be found at the back of your insurance card) to verify what your specific plan coverage will be for the testing.  They will tell you what your plan will cover and what could be your responsibility.

What is cash pay pricing on testing?

Cash-Pay pricing for the Rapid Test is $199 – this includes the Office Visit and Test Fee.

How long does it take to get my results?

Our rapid tests are performed in-house and are available before you leave!

Is this testing FDA approved?

Our Rapid COVID Tests have been authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Normally, to get FDA approval, diagnostic tests need to run trails testing the performance of the tests. This process can take months or even years. Due to the situation of the pandemic, the FDA is skipping a lot of these steps by issuing emergency use authorizations.

How will I get my testing results?

At your visit, our staff will be sure that you have a print-out of your test results prior to leaving.

What Age Range Can Be Tested?

We perform testing on patients three months and older.

Is this Test a PCR Rapid Test?

Currently, our Rapid Tests are Antigen tests and not PCR tests.
