I absolutely love this facility! We have utilized them for numerous emergencies and illnesses within our family, due to being unable to get into our PCP in a timely manner. It is incredibly easy to schedule a walk in online, and the wait time is barely anything. Dr. Easter and her staff are INCREDIBLE. Dr. Easter is both kind and empathetic, and we've never left there feeling unseen or ignored (like so many other places do). She gives great advice and is thorough, and helps direct you to any additional services that you might need in a quick and precise manner. We have started utilizing Community Med for the majority of our checkups due to the convenience and incredible customer service of all that work here.

I was hesitant about this location due to previous interactions with other members of this location.. I came in an hour before closing, my first interaction with the young woman up front- so sweet! BELLA and LAURA were extremely kind and considerate, and that’s an understatement! Bella was willing to make accommodations for my needs! Laura was extremely uplifting and made me feel more comfortable about my visit. Absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you ladies.

I love this office. They are extremely efficient and very good with kids. I have always been able to get in the same day and never have a long wait once I'm in the office. I'm so grateful to have an urgent care that actually cares! ❤️

Quick response to my small emergency by excellent staff.
Followup 8 days later to remove stitches- again great service. Different Nurse Practicioners and Techs each time. All were fabulous.

The staff from the front desk, nurse to doctor were nothing short of amazing, kind and got us back real fast and listened to what I had to say and got me out without feeling unheard or rushed. Very wonderful place. Must try! Cleanliness is an A+ too!

My family had a a great visit. The staff was nice. The service was prompt. I felt the team really took time to ask questions to diagnose what was wrong. I also like the check in process because it eliminates a crowded lobby. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone needing care.

I came in with bronchitis + an asthma attack after an illness. I was in an absolute panic with a heart rate nearing 150. The nurse, I believe her name was Brianna, did so much to help me calm down. Ruth Ellen was my provider and she was so caring, thoughtful, and kind. They offered me incredible care and I left feeling 9 million times better! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Gone to this location multiple times. Getting an appointment and check in at the facility is always efficient. The diagnosis and remedial treatment plan were clear and concise. The “Visit Summary” documented everything and relieved me from the task of remembering everything that was said. If my PCP is unavailable, I go here without concern about the quality of care.

My first time needing a Doctor in a new town. So glad I chose this Urgent Care. Everything went smoothly and making the appointment was simple.

I visited Community Med Urgent Care today for fatigue and a sore throat, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, everything was quick and simple. The staff tested me thoroughly, and the provider took the time to explain all the treatment options in detail, which I really appreciated.

The facility itself was spotless, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I left feeling confident in the care I received and am already on the mend. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing efficient and attentive care!

Bonnie Anderson NP and Christopher Lambert RT were very thorough and caring. They took very good care of us and diagnosed our problem. They have us on the road to recovery and we feel fortunate to be under their care.

From Covid, stitches to Pink Eye, this is the best urgent care I have ever used! You schedule and start your appointment online. Drive to the office and comfortably sit in your car until they are ready for you. Once inside, they get you in and out quick!

We have used CommunityMed Family Urgent Care Haslet Avondale on 5 different occasions for our family and have been pleased every time. We always make an appointment online and have a wait time of less than 10 min when we get there. The waiting area and exam rooms are always clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgable. I love that they can order certain tests and xrays in the office. I highly recommend this urgent care.

I love waiting in your car until your appointment. The staff was courteous. The medical team was very good! I would return here for my medical needs in a heartbeat .

I highly recommend community Med Family Urgent Care for their exceptional care and assistance with professional. The doctor Skyler Lynch was thorough in their examination and diagnosis, and took the time to explain the treatment options available to me.I was Covid + 4 weeks for cure post covid Viral and finally after meeting Skyler she gave a correct treatment and made sure I am fine.
The treatment I received was effective and provided me with much-needed relief from the pain and discomfort of my pinched nerve. The follow-up care and instructions given to me were clear and easy to follow, ensuring that I could continue to heal and recover at home.

I had to make an appointment while on vacation and every aspect of my care was excellent! Front desk clerk was pleasant and informative. Nurse Ruth did a great triage/assessment.
Nurse Practitioner Ruth Ellen listened to my issues explained treatment well and gave great advice on what to do when I returned home. I would most definitely recommend anyone to them for their medical care!

This was a first for treatment of a wound. It was evaluated and care described, as well as an injection and Rx. It was then redressed appropriately, all with excellent technique. Simple and appropriate instructions were given. The caregiver/tech and PA were easy to make understand and thorough. The shot I was given was over before I knew what happened! Thanks for the great care😃

The best Urgent Care! The biggest thank you and heartfelt appreciation for Ana. She was wonderful at attending my husband during a recent visit! She was attentive, caring, and overall sweet! It’s never fun to have to go to an urgent care, but she eased our minds, was thorough in explaining everything, very knowledgeable, and was empathetic & understanding of our situation. Community Med Family Urgent care is by far the best urgent care I have used in the 12 years I have lived in Texas. I don’t believe I have ever had to wait more than 30-40 minutes. Today I scheduled it online from home, and ten minutes later I was in the parking lot checking in. Ruby did my initial triage over the phone, she was very kind, courteous, professional and efficient. Shortly after the initial call, I was invited inside to check in…the woman at the counter was super friendly scanned my insurance cards collected my copay. Within 5 minutes I was in the exam room. Ruby came in took my vitals, took me off for some x-rays. She was very patient and sensitive to the fact that I was experiencing a lot of discomfort during the xray process and did her best to make sure I didn’t have to articulate my injured arm too much.

Almost immediately after getting the X-rays done I was back in the exam room, greeted by the provider Kathy. She was also very thorough, and efficient. All said and done I was in and out in about 45 minutes.
I’m thankful that they never seem to be busy but hope that they are doing enough business to stay around for a long time. Highly recommend.

All members of my family have visited this location at some point. The online reservation and check in process is easy and straightforward. The nurses and doctors here really listen and go the extra mile to make you comfortable and address the issues. Definitely our go to place if we are feeling sick.

The actual Doctors at this location are amazing. Really great Doctors. But the rest of the staff leading up to are not friendly or professional. Specifically a Hispanic girl at the front desk. Very rude and I caught her doing phone videos of herself at the front desk. She’s definitely a reason patients would want to go elsewhere.

How do you send the patient to the ER without even seeing them? My husband took our son in because he was sick, running a fever and feeling lethargic. Before even putting eyes on my son, the physician recommended that my husband takes him to wait at the ER for hours to be seen. At least try to be a doctor and look at the patient before sending them away. I’m sure we’ll be billed for this non visit.

My bill was $10 more than last time (last month), I was given literally no explanation as to why. I know I have good insurance and it's been consistently the same price for over 15 years. Second, turning someone away who is visibly in pain because they're $5 short for their copay doesn't sit well with me. I will not be coming back here.

Edit: please avoid this place at all costs. If you value your family PLEASE go somewhere else. I was seen at 7 pm, got there at around 7:08 last night, wasn't visited in the room until 7:30 where the first thing I'm told is "sorry for the wait, everyone likes to comes in right when we close" that's not something I want to hear from a health care "professional". Second, I had to ask for an X-ray, when I asked I was told "it won't do anything but we can do it for grins if you want"... what??? During the X-ray, I wasn't offered an lead apron at all. When I got my xray image it says "soft tissue appears unremarkable".. I was told you can't see soft tissue in an xray? They didn't look at soft tissue. That is a lie. I'll be getting in contact with higher ups. This type of care is not okay.

The front desk clerk is lazy and unhelpful. She ran my insurance (incorrectly, she had some strange document completely different from the one I submitted) and told me it was coming back inactive. I assured her it was an active account and asked if she could call to verify. She flat out refused to call and told me the only way to be seen was cash pay. I called my insurance company, verified the insurance was still active, which it was, and walked the phone in to her. She refused to take to them asking me to calm down (I was calm, not yelling or swearing), and she disappeared to get a supervisor. They eventually figured it out and I was able to be seen but there is no excuse for falsely reporting insurance coverage because you are too lazy to do your job.

The medical assistant was extremely rude to my 3 year old daughter. When we went in to take vital she was nervous and scared. The medical assistant told my daughter if she doesn’t stop crying she will take her suckers.

When it came time for an X-ray she rudely asked “is she even going to be able to sit still for an X-ray”. There was no patience with her or kindness. She is just a child and was scared.

The doctor was very kind to us. I will not be returning again.

We made an appointment waited over an hour and couldn’t wait any longer since my husband had to go back to work. We rescheduled then checked in and waited 40 minutes so I called and the front desk said she didn’t find my rescheduled appointment nor my check in. I don’t understand how this could be I entered everything in the link as well as checked in with their QR code. They are in need of a new system that works and need to stop overbooking patients and avoid the long wait time and stress on both patient and staff there. Wish I would have checked all the reviews and saved us 2-3 hours of wait time to not be seen.

I went to this urgent care today 1/6/2024. They tested me for Covid, flu, and rsv. Allegedly all 3 came back negative. I went to CVS and was tested and it was positive. The doctor at this place never gave me a diagnosis. She said it may be sinus or a cold. My eye is pink and has pus in the corners. I told the doctor that I may have conjunctivitis. She said the antibiotics should help.

I can’t smell, taste, my ears are popping, my throat is sore and hurts when I drink anything, my chest and my side hurts, I have a fever off and on. They charged me $75 and didn’t do anything but call in some antibiotics and some cough medicine.

And to top it off I have Covid per CVS test.

Doctors just don’t care anymore it’s a sad sad world we live in.

I’m not from here I’m from Tennessee where some of the best doctors are, this lady didn’t know what a sinus cocktail shot was.

I went in to be seen at 12:30 and was advised they weren’t taking any more patients when they closed at 3 (which is 5 HOURS EARLIER THAN THEIR NORMAL HOURS!). They had 1 person waiting inside. They advised their other location wasn’t taking patients either, go figure! She advised urgent care wasn’t for my concern, a pain in my side but for coughs and I should go to the ER. So kind and empathetic (sarcasm). They only care about partying and drinking for NYE and not their patients! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

Came here for an employment drug screen. I had an appointment and still waited well over 1.5 hours. Staff never bothered to provide an update. Staff are not friendly. I would highly recommend going anywhere else for occupational medicine.

My husband went in on 09/25/2024 to get a DOT physical done and was told that his blood pressure was too high to pass. However, he literally just came from his primary doctor for another appointment and it was normal; commute was no more than 10 minutes. So he comes home, we check his blood pressure all day and it's ready perfect. We decided to go in again on 09/26 and before we left, I took it again and it's reading normal. We get to this location only to be told it's high basically as a giraffe's ass which I knew was a lie. The first man that took it was great. No attitude and very professional. But then then man comes in in black scrubs who we're assuming is the Dr because I'm sure he heard us talking in the room. But, what stood out was his funky azz attitude which totally pissed me off being I'm life wife. If you can't answer or understand the frustrations of your patients, then leave the medical field. We don't need you! Me being the wife, I knew exactly what I was talking about when I informed them they're machines are calibrated or reading right because we left and went to another location to get my husband's DOT physical completed and guess what....HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WAS AND IS NORMAL! I understand people have bad days, but what you're not going to do is gaslight us and try to tell us anything because you think we're clueless! My husband was in the military for years and now in Transportation for 34 years, so respect your patients when they inform you what's going on. We don't need your funky attitude because we didn't piss in your cheerios this morning. You need to check your attitude at the door, Dr!!! Your entitlement you think you have is showing. No need from a response from you all pertaining to this review either. Please, have the day you deserve!
