Frequently Asked
Questions
What is urgent care?
People who are injured or sick and do not require life-saving medical care often choose to visit an urgent care facility. Urgent care clinics offer immediate care without the large expenses associated with the average ER visit. These facilities are also a good option if your primary care physician’s offices are closed at the time you or a loved one needs treatment. Our providers can prescribe medications, give referrals, and perform most, if not all, of the services received in a traditional doctor’s office.
Do I need to book a time in advance for urgent care?
Our clinic takes same-day walk-ins and we also offer online scheduling. It is easier – and faster – to be seen at urgent care unlike booking a typical doctor’s appointment. To shorten your wait time, use our online scheduling tool to get in line virtually and prepare to arrive for your time slot.
Does urgent care take my insurance?
Our urgent care facility is in-network with Tricare, Medicare, and most major insurance companies. Before coming to our facility, please call the phone number on the back of your insurance card to confirm our clinic is in your network and how much your insurance will cover. Be sure to bring your medical card when you arrive.
How long is the wait time at urgent care clinics?
Most waits at our clinic are not too long. On average, most patients are usually in and out within an hour’s time. This includes any time spent in our waiting room before they see one of our medical providers. However, any time spent can be lessened if you secure your spot in our virtual line before arriving at the clinic.
