I wish I could give this place more than five stars! The medical assistant, Maria, and the nurse practitioner took such great care of me—I was genuinely impressed. They both went above and beyond to answer all my questions and made sure I was seen quickly and efficiently. When you’re feeling absolutely awful, it makes a huge difference to be met with kindness, compassion, and affordable care. Even the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

The entire staff, from start to finish, was amazing. I must emphasize that the nurse practitioner, Stacy Pearlman, was extremely thorough and compassionate. If I could follow her around to be my primary care, I would wholeheartedly do so! She truly cared about making me better, and her diagnosis and treatment plan was spot on. I started feeling better that very afternoon, All Thanks to Stacy. I could not ask for more - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

While fishing with our grandson for the first time all was going great..Accidents happen, while untangling the line from the hook the rod got moved a tiny bit and the hook went into the side of Grandpa's thumb. Ouch..We manged to get to this Urgent Care Place in Melissa on Mckinney St. Our grandson was terrified, he is only six and never experienced anything like this.The nurses were outstanding, so kind and helpful. The nurse practioner for that day was absolutely the best, what a terrific job she did. Major kudos to this group of women Care takers..We can't thank you enough, 3/19/25

They were super helpful. I was a last minute walk-in and they helped squeeze me in. The doctor was nice and funny and made me feel better after talking with him about my symptoms. Overall great experience and I will definitely be back if needed!

They stayed open for us to come back and leave a sample so we could more thorough care and results. I appreciate the doctor and nurse for being so kind and responsive to us even though we didn’t find out anything conclusive yet!

Great experience! Very friendly staff with easy check in process online! Once back in the room, it took 20 minutes or less to see the nurse and doctor!

Fast. Knowledgeable. Excellent Beside Manner. All the ladies were very nice and personable. Will visit again anytime I have a last minute medical issue and need help. Grateful to know that convenient medical care is available just down the street.

I went to urgent care today after fighting off what I found out to be Flu B. Everyone there was so nice and took such amazing care of me. Stacey was my PA and she gave me IV fluids and Tiffany was my med tech and Itzel at the front desk were all so kind and took such great care of me. They even stayed until after closing to ensure I got the full
IV fluid bag. I’m so very thankful for them.

Amazing place with amazing people! Easy check-in and they had me back walking before I left. They took great care in everything they did. I can’t recommend them enough!

I was forced to seek a doctor's note by my employer; so a $200 piece of paper to verify that I am, in fact, sick and should not return to work until I no longer have a fever. The staff confirmed that I am, in fact, sick, have a fever, and should not return to work until I have 24 hours without a fever. They were very nice to me while I was there.

We’ve been coming to this facility for many years. They get you in as quickly as possible, order whatever tests they need or even x-rays if needed. They are very professional, yet kind and caring. I always recommend CommunityMed in Melissa.

Had a great experience even though i was sick, they made me feel welcomed. Sweetest doctor and nurse made me feel a whole lot better and really attended my health to make me feel so much better.

Very thorough. Dud swab on RSV. Flu, covid and others. Test were negative. Diagnoses was sinus infection. They sent prescription to my pharmacist.

We are fairly new to the area and our daughter had a high fever and flu like symptoms. We were seen same day with in 45 mins of making the appointment. The staff was amazing and so kind. We won't go anywhere else.

I recently visited with my daughter, who was suffering from a fever. The staff was incredibly caring and professional, and the doctor took the time to thoroughly examine my daughter and answer all my questions. We were in and out quickly, and my daughter is already feeling much better. Highly recommend!"

Wonderful experience. Front desk staff offered my daughter water while we waited and worked hard to get her in quickly. Nurse and Doctor were also fabulous.

Community Med Family Urgent Care did an excellent job as usual to help me with my issue. They checked me in efficiently, asked questions about what was going on and discussed medications and multiple options. We were “in & out” within 45 minutes. When no one else would/ could help with my daughter and her medication for her bleeding disorder….. they did!!! And so kind and understanding. Actually listened to us. We love y’all there at community med hwy 5!!!

I loved that I could pick the time frame for my appointment and was not waiting hours and hours to see a doctor. Dr. Helga was very nice and thorough, all the staff were helpful and answered all my questions. This is my 3rd time going here for last minute appointments and I’ve never had a bad experience.

Great service! Everyone was helpful and attentive during my visit. I left with no questions left unanswered. Will definitely use them again should the need arise.

I’ve been to this facility a few times in the past 2 years and they have been very thorough in dealing with solutions. Their online registration is pretty straightforward and easy. When I can’t go to my PCP, this is a great alternative!

Office staff was fantastic. Krystal got me back to a room quickly and helped ease my anxiety with my injury. Her true compassion was very comforting to help ease my nerves. Justin was super helpful and caring. Very educated and compassionate also. Melissa was also extremely helpful at the front desk. 5 stars!

Registered online, scanned the QR code when I got there.checked in when I got there. Carlos called and said to come in.

Once I was in they brought me back and took great care of me. Edwin was the provider he listened to me and checked me out.

Excellent experience all around. Online registration and check-in was easy & user-friendly. I was able to wait in car and have phone triage to prevent spread and exposure of illness. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Nurse Beverly and provider Justin made me feel at ease. They were able to conduct all necessary testing, provide results, administer first round of meds and steroid shot, and send in rx to pharmacy. All around excellent experience and top-notch service.

I am new to Anna,tx. Had minor problem and scheduled appointment. I liked to convenience of waiting in my car. The staff was very friendly and professional.
Ms. Hawkins was great in helping and guided me to other choices to optimize my health.

I called for an appointment this morning and was seen this afternoon (same day). The check in process is not particularly user friendly but once inside, the healthcare providers were attentive, professional and carried out their functions appropriately. Their interactions with me and the care provided was quality care.
I would return for care if my PCP was unavailable and I would recommend to others if the same NP and RT were on duty.

I have been to this location more times than I can count and have never had the horrible wait that I had today. I made my appointment and still waited an hour in the parking lot. Then I came inside and waited longer than I ever had before to see the doctor. The doctors and staff are always so friendly and nice, but I was more than disappointed in the wait time today especially waiting with a young child who doesn’t feel well. It would be one thing to be me, a grown adult waiting, but it was my kid and it was extremely frustrating today.

I love community med in Melissa at HWY 5, they have always had the best staff. But when they opened the second location on 121 and they hired the front desk person Devon I vowed to never go back to 121. Now she is also rotating in at HWY 5. I would give her a zero star if that was available. She doesn’t verify insurance information correctly and she is the only one who has ever had an issue with mine in all the visits we have made. She is rude and condescending and now if I am to use community med I will need to call and see if she is working at the location prior to my visit. I have never been treated so horribly by anyone in a medical facility before.

Just wanted to share my experience visiting Community Med Urgent Care in Melissa facility recently. I normally don’t write reviews or take the time to do it so for me to write a review is a big deal. It was my first time at this place, and I've been to urgent care in McKinney before. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this new location. I ended up having to wait a really long time to be seen, even though I was experiencing shortness of breath.

I can hear the staff talking about me and laughing. They just checked my vitals, that’s it, but they didn't do much for me initially. After repeatedly expressing my concerns, they finally decided to give me a steroid shot. I have to say, it wasn't the best experience, and I definitely won't be going back there. I basically wasted my co-pay; I should’ve just gone to my primary doctor. It was a total waste of time and money.

If you ever need to visit urgent care, I highly recommend the one in McKinney instead. It felt small and lacking in equipment.

I spoke with the clinic and three separate people in their billing department. I emailed proof of (double) payment. Still no help resolving this issue. I was told to try and get the money back by disputing the charge through my bank but that there was nothing they can do, very crooked practices here.

Edit- As soon as I posted a negative review someone called me and miraculously could help! 3 weeks after my appt I received a paper check refund. I paid with card. They could have easily refunded my card the same day but instead chose to send me a paper check that took weeks. And they did nothing until I posted a negative review.

Dear Management

I recently visited the Highway 5 location in Melissa, Texas, due to an urgent matter. As a frequent visitor, I've noticed that the paperwork system has changed, and I find it quite cumbersome. Previously, the process was more streamlined, but now it requires significant manual paperwork both before and after my office visit.

This outdated system is challenging and detracts from the otherwise excellent service provided by your wonderful staff and doctors. I kindly request that you consider revising the paperwork process to enhance efficiency. We truly value this facility for urgent situations.

If I could give a zero I really wish I could. Walked in with my son yesterday afternoon. Lady who greeted me was ice cold like a popsicle, dry, unfriendly, borderline rude and very unhelpful. Needless to say I walked right out. My money is good everywhere and if you’re miserable in your field please do yourself a favor and find work elsewhere. Customer service is not for you.
For anyone reading this please go to Anna Integrity Care, took less than 5 minutes to get checked in and the fees for private pay aren’t inflated and you get top notch care with amazing providers and X-ray facilities on site.

I took a family member to this facility for an urgent matter. After checking in with the front desk, we were called back to a room to have the actual medical provider tell us they do not treat the issue we were there for and they sent us on our way. Meanwhile, they still billed my insurance and did not immediately return our copayment after not being seen in any way. We managed to get through the layers of bureaucracy to speak with a patient advocate who immediately refunded the copay and apologized. A year later we receive another bill for the unpaid balance the insurance company didn’t pay. Again, we contacted the patient advocate who again stated the issue was resolved and we would no longer be receiving bills. Now, one year later we are again getting these false billing statements. This time we called the advocate who referred us to the billing department. We had the misfortune of speaking with Michelle who was rude, spoke over us as was simply demeaning and unprofessional. She eventually agreed to write off the bill, but only after being the worst advocate for a company I’ve ever met. There will never be an occasion that I or any other member of my family will step foot in this pathetic business. The decent, caring medical professionals in this clinic need to find a more professional environment to make a living.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, all have been terrible experiences.
I waited for 2 hours and then told me they couldn’t see me til the next day… after 2 hours of waiting???
I’ve waited up to 4 hours to be seen before and they don’t even let you leave and come back.
All staff is crude and makes side remarks throughout your appointments, especially Crystal.

If you’re trying to be seen quick and not spoken to like you’re a peasant, do yourself a favor and skip going here.

the receptionist at the front is very rude and does not know how to use her words properly in the medical clinic. For one I come in obviously in distress and ask how can I get an appointment. She does not question how I feel because as a medical staff you need to observe those things before you possibly lose a patient. After I go sign in one the website the question says "If you are in serious distress go inside immediately and tell the receptionist" I tell her and she goes "Since you CLAIM you are sick you will be seen quickly" Work on your word choice talking to patients I have lupus and the last thing I want to hear is someone trying to say I don't know how I feel. That immediately made me realize this place does not care about my well being. AND I HAVE INSURANCE AND I WAS TREATED THIS WAY. people of color don't go here not worth it.
