This was my second visit to Community Med urgent care in Midlothian since I moved her in August of 2024. Both times I have gotten excellent care. The doctors and the nurse/nurse techs. are GREAT. The office staff are some of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting like this. All the way around the care and treatment from the entire staff is AWESOME. I’m so glad I found them. Thank you all for making a sick visit to receive treatment so up lifting. If we were rating on the 5 star system I would go above and beyond and give them a 10!

Love coming here after hours / weekends for healthcare treatment when I or my family need help. The people are nice and very helpful. The physicians are knowledgeable, helpful and have good bedside manners. They don’t rush you out like your just a number, they care about the patients they are seeing.

I was exceptionally impressed with this urgent care facility. The premises were exceptionally clean, and the customer service was top tier! I didnt have to wait too long to get seen as i was seen promptly. 10/10

Major Shout Out to Midlothian Team. NP-Curtiss, Melissa and Kayla all Rock! Everything was nice and clean and felt welcoming! My son Braden wasn’t feeling his best but thanks to Curtiss being very knowledgeable, he’s back being himself now. This wasn’t our first visit and I must say, each time we’ve come the service is outstanding!! If you’re looking for great care, give them a chance and you will not be disappointed. I loved the check in process, everything was so smooth.

After one urgent care told me to go to the Emergency Room where it was going to cost the major big bucks lol, this one took me in with no problems and I found out it was just my right ear. Linda has great bedside manners and she explains very well so that you can understand and not left with any unanswered questions when you leave. The front staff was polite as well let me not forget about them.

We had a good experience here, they got us in quickly and caught an issue with my husband that required an ER visit. They were very helpful and I’m glad we went here! I would absolutely go again if needed.

I am so happy this urgent care is here. The is the 2nd time I had to use them within 2 weeks. It’s so easy, schedule an appointment online, check in remotely in the parking lot. They call to triage then have you come in and pay your copay, get your vitals and have you wait n the room. Each visit there was really no wait and Curtis is outstanding. Thank you for everything and taking care of me when I’m under the weather. Definitely will use them again and let all my friends and family know.

I was pleasantly pleased with my first time visit at Community Med Urgent Care. Valerie at the front desk was very kind, considerate, and helpful with the check in process. Melissa preformed my Triage and was very thorough, patient and polite. Linda was my Practitioner. She listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that finds themselves in need of medical attention. This is a very kind and caring environment for patient care.

Each time I have to come urgent care, I always feel like I am taken care of. Today's visit was no exception. Linda, Ariel, and Jamie were professional and above caring. Linda's bubbly personality makes the reason for the visit not so bad!

I've been to this location twice now and they have been great! The first time I went to another Urgent Care clinic and because I am pregnant they said there wasn't much they could do for me. I came to this location though and the doctor did a more thorough exam and ended up giving me a pregnancy safe antibiotic that cleared everything up within a couple of days. This will probably be my go-to urgent care clinic now.

Easy check- in online. Staff is always helpful and polite. The provider, Curtiss, is very nice and makes you feel he is concerned about your well-being. They are near my home so I'm glad they are here. Would recommend!

I had my first visit last night. The check-in procedure was very efficient. I liked staying in my car until they called me in. The provider and other staff were friendly and timely. I got the treatment I needed and will definitely use the Urgent Care Clinic in Midlothian when I need it again. Highly recommend!

Got my husband in before closing and gave him an IV to feel better knowing that it would keep us at the clinic beyond their closing time. So thankful for the care they provided. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hardy the entire staff. 10/10 would recommend to anyone not feeling well.

You’re given easy to follow instructions on what to do once you’re close to your appointment time. And, you’re given location information to get there, and even offered a map too. I suggest arriving about 15-30 minutes early to your appointment in case they’re busy. Once you’re in the parking lot, look for the code that’s usually located on a window near the front door. This will alert the front desk of your arrival. You’ll need to have your volume up on your phone and anticipate receiving a phone call from them to let you know to come into the health care facility. Once you get the call, walk in and offer your name and date of birth so front desk can locate you in their system, then have a seat. You’ll be called back shortly.
Overall, the visit was a good one. The staff is very polite, helpful, and informative. The doctor or nurse practitioner on duty is polite, professional, and is a good listener. I am grateful this facility was open on a Sunday, and was grateful to the entire staff there in Midlothian that I was given proper care. Thank you Midlothian Community Med! Y’all are awesome!!

Really love this urgent care and their team! They got us in and out probably within 30 minutes and they were so efficient/thorough! Very friendly as well. I can't remember the NP name off the top of my head, but he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all my many questions lol for my daughter's care. Highly recommend!

A Heartfelt Thank You to Community Med

As a mother, there are no words to express the depth of my gratitude for APN Curtis Hardy and the incredible team at Community Med. From the moment we arrived, they treated my son with such care and urgency. They not only diagnosed him quickly but worked tirelessly to stabilize him. Their professionalism and compassion were beyond what I could have hoped for. Today, I am so relieved and thankful to say that my son is on the mend. They treated him like their own child, and for that, I will forever be grateful.

Curtis the nurse practitioner and the assistant were so kind and caring. Curtis took the time to explain and he asked questions. I felt like he genuinely cared for how I was feeling. The front desk staff were also great!

Fast service and friendly staff. I love that you wait in your car and do everything from your phone before you get called to go inside. The nurse practitioner I saw was very knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely go back in the future when I need care.

My first visit was a great experience. Checking in was quick and efficient, and I appreciated the convenience of waiting in my car until they were ready for me. The doctor and staff were friendly, attentive, and took the time to listen to my concerns. Overall, a very pleasant visit—thank you for making it so seamless and comfortable.

Took my 86 year old Mother in to be seen. They were absolutely wonderful to us both. The facility was very clean and the entire staff were so kind and helpful.

The ease of scheduling online and filling out paperwork is so easy. Checking in upon arrival is quick and efficient. I like how you wait in your vehicle, until they are ready to see you. The doctor and staff were absolutely wonderful! My three year old was on her best behavior. The staff made her feel comfortable and right at home. Thanks for such a pleasant experience!

Great team, staff was very professional. Practitioner Curtiss Hardy was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and gave me a referral for additional care-I will probably bring my kiddos here too, thank you and your team!

Britney, Mady and Linda took such good care of me today. 63 years and I finally broke something. The three of them made me as comfortable as possible, made sure I understood the entire process and answered all the questions I had.

Hope I never need them again but I'll be back if so.

First time using an Urgent Care, but I was absolutely happy with the staff. Everyone was comforting, approachable as well as knowledgeable. I will be bringing my future back pains to them. Thank You!

The entire were very friendly and helpful w my mom’s situation. There wasn’t a long wait which was also a great benefit considering the pain my mom was in. We also weren’t exposed to a waiting room full of people, but they only brought each person in one at a time. There is no Physician on site so they could not give her pain meds, but the PA did give her muscle Relaxers, which honestly helped quite a bit. The x-rays were not read by the pathologist until much later that afternoon and sent to me through email. I was still thankful so that I could forward it to her primary physician

Very quick and efficient check-in process. I was in and out in less than an hour from registration to check out. Everyone was super nice and easy easy to talk to. I will definitely come back again if needed.

Great Service on Sunday! I walked in without an appointment and was able to see a doctor in under 10 minutes. Fast Service! Provider was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will definitely be back!

I have been here a bunch whether it is for me, or my kids. Curtis and everyone there has always been so helpful and kind. We have seen a few providers there throughout the year and always had a stellar experience. It is always quick, but they are thorough and address every need or concern. It is a great place to go to if you can't get to your PCP, but even with that said, they are even better than a normal PCP!

Curtis Hardy was great and had all of the possibilities to cover and got the scripts over to Walgreeens. Plus we got a Duck care package. Highly recommended and so glad this is here and very close to our home. This is now the third visit and all visits have been great and quick. It takes.longer to register and fill out all of the information than it did waiting to be seen.

Walk-in means WALK IN 100% I googled it & First time here, check in was seamless & was literally in patient office being seen by Dr in 45 minutes of google search SO WOWED. Check in was smooth at front, The Tech was so kind & respectful, and the Doctor took a great amount of time with me, listening to all my concerns & offering empathy & even called me later at home ad she promised within 2 hrs of visit. I was slack jawed!! So Very Pleased and More Grateful to have found this Urgent Care. THANK YOU !!!!

CommunityMed Urgent Care is clean and well maintained. Everyone working there was super nice. I injured my ankle and they were able to do x-rays and make sure i was taken care of. I am not a big fan of Urgent Care typically. Hopefully I will not need to go back any time soon but it feels good to know there is a place to fo nearby if needed. Thank you CommunityMed Urgent Care.

Thomas and Skyler are amazing. Both so kind and friendly and put you at ease. Talk to you with genuine care about you as the patient. You can tell they like what they do and that’s very hard to find nowadays.

I took my 2 year old here for a sick visit. It was easy to get an appointment the day of. We were in and out within an hour of arriving. The medical tech, Chelsea, was super patient with my daughter. She was scared and crying initially upon going back but Chelsea was so friendly and had her happy by the time she took her vitals. Curtis, the NP, was very patient and kind with my daughter as well! He took into consideration her age and did not order any unnecessary tests that would upset her. Overall, the experience as great and would definitely recommend!

Quick and professional. Easy to find location. I am very happy with their straight forward attention to my health needs. No gimmicks, just what I needed. Thank you for your services and being a part of the Midlothian community!

First let me say this is the best staffed urgent care I have ever been to. I happened to do something stupid in the kitchen and needed care. They were super fast super efficient, and the nicest people ever!! My doctor, Amy was the best as were everyone helping me. So caring careful and attentive. Really took great care of me. This is a gem to have in Midlothian we are lucky they are here, and blessed to have such a great facility near our home. Thank you so much.

The actual medical service was good - quick testing, thorough diagnostic discussion. But, waiting in the car on a cold rainy day with a sick kiddo is not good. We decided to go inside and were made to feel guilty. Then we still had to fill out more paperwork in there - that we had already done online. We had a check-in window that did not get met either.

Like I said, medically it was good. Getting to the medical part, not great. Everyone was nice, but it didn’t really go as it should.

It was an overall pleasant experience and the most organized Urgent.Care. The whole process took about one hour but this is typical of doctors visit. I waited in the car for 30 minutes which was the part I did not like but for an urgent care, a 30 minute wait is not bad at all. The staff were very professional! I definitely recommend this Urgent Care!

The nurse and physician were very considerate & patient. They both explained everything they did in depth & detailed. The only negative I have is the check-in process. I was so sick I was unable to get to my insurance info to register online & the person I spoke with working the desk said I HAD to register online or on paper when I got there. While I understand dealing with sick people isn’t fun to do, some compassion would be nice to hear, as well as an, “I’ll help you once you arrive,” would be an added comfort. Thank you to the nurse and physician on duty at the time of my visit. 9/14/24

I visited 4 days ago on Monday. I complained of nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, cramping, etc for the last 3-4 days. I gave a urine sample and was prescribed an antibiotic and told to take a probiotic. I’m still experiencing those same symptoms, however truth be told they are diminishing now. Thank goodness for Imodium and Pepto Bismol. I was texted today by the clinic saying that no infection was found but if my symptoms are persisting please feel free to return.
I’m good.

I have been to this urgent care several times for my whole family. Every time I had awesome experience. Today I saw the provider Linda and she was extremely rude and made me feel dumb. I felt as I was wasting her time for me being there. Please be considerate of your patients. Don’t be rude to your patients. The reason we go is because we don’t feel well and the last thing we need is a provider being rude. Other than today my experience here has been great.

Early this afternoon, I scheduled a tele-visit for mid afternoon today. Apparently,, all tele-visits originate out of Midlothian for CommunityMed. After spending quite a bit of time filling out paperwork and uploading drivers license and insurance info, I received a text message and an email saying that I would receive links SHORTLY for payment and to start the call. I received neither. Ten minutes before my appointment, I called my local CommunityMed and they transferred me to Midlothian. Brittany answered the phone and told me that the information would be sent to me at my appointment time. A few minutes later, at my appointment time, Brittany called me to tell me that I was “Outside the age range for a tele-visit” and she was canceling my appointment. Age range Is 14 to 64 and I am 67. Nowhere in all the paperwork that I filled out was this noted, especially after question one which requested my birthdate (and gee, don’t you think the system would’ve flagged my appointment request, since I’m out of the age range???). Brittany was cold and uncaring, not apologetic, refuse to take any ownership of the issue, and offered no options other than for me to complain to “corporate.” I told her I would write a review instead.
And, BTW, when YOUR OFFICE notifies “corporate” of this age range issue, you can also let them know that although your paperwork says that you will not need to electronically sign any forms if you have already done that within the last year (which I did in July 2024), you do still need to electronically sign them.

Waited for 45 minutes for them to tell me they may not see my son. Then they came back and said they would, pulled us to the back. Don’t have a pediatric scale. Then sent his prescription to the wrong pharmacy even after I told them we are just in town to visit with family and not familiar with the area. They might be good for adults but would never recommend taking a child of any age here.

**UPDATE on the experience below: In contact with the billing manager, I was given zero consideration or acknowledgement that anything was amiss, much less an apology. Continuing the reputation of our "health care" system as a cold, profit-driven machine that does not actually care about your well-being. It is amazing at what so-called professionals can get away with and there is no recourse to the consumer.**
Very rude and unpleasant experience with the doctor, who is named in multiple other 1 star reviews here. Everyone else was great. She took a 1 second look at my issue and said I needed to go to the ER. This is a lot to absorb in 1 second when I thought I was going to be in and out in 10 minutes. When I, in my state of shock, asked "why?", she immediately got defensive and went off about how they go to school to learn about things. Wow. Maybe they need to teach a little empathy and professionalism in med school. I tried to gently ask for a little more discussion, which was met with a few begrudging details. So I went to the ER and the doctor laughed at her diagnosis. Totally off on the extreme end. Wow again. So not only am I paying for a visit where care was refused, I did a totally unnecessary visit to the ER to get antibiotics and a band-aid for big $$. If I could get my money back and an apology, I might consider removing this review. Paying for my upcoming ER balance bill would be the actual right thing to do. Clearly this will not happen per my update above.
