Dr. Gregory Blomquist, CMO
Dr. Blomquist, Co-Founder and Practice Leader, has decades of experience dual boarded in Emergency and Internal Medicine. He has spent years as an ER doctor working for hospitals and free-standing ERs. As young as Dr. Blomquist is, he is a pioneer in internal and emergency medicine, and the longest-practicing free standing ER doctor in the US.

Birken Olson, CEO
Birken Olson, Co-Founder and CEO of CommunityMed Urgent & Family Care, is a proven business leader.  CommunityMed was created to not only be a place to come when you’re sick, but a place that’s going to keep you well.  Prior to CommunityMed, Olson spent three years as CFO of First Choice Emergency Room. Olson worked with the management team to double the company’s valuation in 16-months.  Under his tenure, the company recapitalized, sold majority equity, raised several 8-digit tranches in debt, and executed the growth strategy to the current 20+ location per year run rate. Olson has founded or purchased 13 businesses, and has raised over $700mm in private equity and debt financing for these ventures. Olson received a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering from New Mexico State University, and an MBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
